My name is Rob, and I’m a bourbon lover.
I was born and raised in Kentucky. I am a two-time graduate of the University of Kentucky (Telecommunications first, then Computer Science a few years later). My CS degree brought me to Dallas, TX, where I work as a software engineer for a large company most people have never heard of. Since moving to Dallas, I’ve tacked a Master’s in Security Engineering from Southern Methodist University onto my CV.
I have a wonderful wife and two daughters. We share the house with four cats, a dog, and a fish.
I was never a huge bourbon fan while living in Kentucky, but after moving to Texas in 2004 I began to embrace bourbon as a taste of home. Now, nearly eight years later, I am a true bourbon enthusiast.
I find that sharing the things I enjoy increases my enjoyment. I’ve been sharing my love of bourbon (and my actual bourbon) with my friends for some time now. While I don’t have nearly enough bourbon to share with the entire internet, I can share my enthusiasm as well as my thoughts and experiences.
I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoy sharing,
